Job Description:
Seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant with proficiency in ARCHICAD and previous professional experience ideally in the UK market, to join my client’s multicultural and multidisciplinary architecture team. The ideal candidate will assist through all stages of RIBA under the supervision of ARB qualified Architects on UK based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop accurate and detailed architectural drawings using ARCHICAD.
* Assist in creating 3D models, visualizations, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
* Support Architects in project development and coordination.
* Prepare planning and building regulation submission drawings.
* Collaborate with consultants, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project progress.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and compliance with codes and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Part II qualification/ equivalent in the UK.
* Professional experience with ARCHICAD software (latest version desirable).
* A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating experience in architectural projects using ARCHICAD at a professional level.
* Strong understanding of architectural design, detailing, and construction processes.
* Strong understanding of UK building codes.
* Strong understanding and experience of RIBA stages.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Experience in sustainable design.
* Knowledge of ARCHICAD, BIM software and Sketch-up.
