An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Director to join a well-established and growing HVAC and Mechanical Services business based in Edinburgh.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing all mechanical and HVAC operations, driving business performance, and leading project delivery across commercial and industrial clients.

The Role:

Provide strategic leadership and technical direction across all mechanical and HVAC projects.

Manage and mentor project and design teams to ensure safe, timely, and profitable delivery.

*

Oversee commercial performance, including estimating, procurement, and contract management.

*

Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.

*

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

*

Drive innovation, efficiency, and quality across all mechanical and HVAC operations.

The Candidate:

Proven experience in a senior management or director-level role within the HVAC or mechanical building services sector.

*

Strong technical background in mechanical systems design, installation, and delivery.

*

Excellent commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and high-value projects.

*

Effective leader with the ability to mentor teams and drive continuous improvement.

*

Ideally degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with professional memberships (CIBSE, IMechE, etc.).
