Thermal Insulation Engineers – Local

Our Industrial Services team are actively recruiting for Thermal Insulation Engineers (Laggers)

Job Details:

Start Date: ASAP, based on security clearance and site requirements

Laggers – £1,200 – £1,900

£47.80 per night worked lodge (for travellers)

Duration: Ongoing

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 18:00, with possible Saturday and Sunday shifts

Location: Portsmouth

Duties can include be not limited to: Working on a variety of ships within a marine environment. Lagging ships bulkheads using paroc marine board, Lagging deckheads, Vent trunking using cork sheeting, Engine exhaust, uptakes, Pipe work using phenolic foam pipe section, Valves and flanges.

Qualifications Required:

TTICA card, NVQ or apprenticeship papers

With this role you will have to undergo the following: 

Drug and alcohol testing as part of induction

BPSS clearance for dockyard – This includes identity verification, employment history review, and a criminal record check.
