Location: Kent
Salary: £37-47,000 (dependent on experience)
A long-established architectural and surveying practice is looking for a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technician to strengthen its Kent-based team. This role offers the chance to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, spanning residential, commercial and industrial sectors, with a strong focus on delivering precise technical design and robust construction information.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawings, BIM models and construction information across all project stages
Ensure design outputs align with current legislation, UK building regulations and structural/services requirements
Collaborate with architects, surveyors, clients and external consultants to develop practical and well-resolved design solutions
Guide and support junior team members, promoting best practice in drawing standards and workflow efficiency
Assist in preparing tender documentation, specifications and contract-related material when needed
Contribute to sustainable design initiatives and help strengthen digital processes within the studioCandidate Profile
Established experience as a Senior Architectural Technician within an architectural or multidisciplinary practice
Strong working knowledge of UK building regulations, BIM protocols and construction detailing
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with excellent technical drawing and modelling capability
High level of accuracy and attention to detail across all documentation
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
Ability to balance workloads, prioritise effectively and manage multiple live projects
Must be based in Kent or within comfortable commuting distanceWhat's on Offer
