Duties/Responsibilities
– Manage projects from the completion of the design stage to the completion of build works on site
– Accept and commence build works as instructed
– Conduct and document site visits to assess job requirements
– Interpret designs and drawings to ensure accurate completion of works
– Create and manage construction programmes compatible with deadlines
– Liaise with third parties including warranty providers, building control, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and project management
– Provide clear instructions to all parties to maintain professional standards and ensure works are completed to design specifications
– Document and agree on any variations to the original design specification, ensuring these are tracked and promptly communicated for acceptance
– Prepare necessary documentation for the completion of works, including risk assessments and method statements
– Manage sub-contractors to ensure professional standards are met
– Procure plant and materials in line with project timescales
– Oversee overall site management, allocating duties and resources efficiently
– Maintain the Group’s database with project progress from start to finish
– Prepare and submit invoices following the correct process
About You
– Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
– Strong understanding of construction processes and project management
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Ability to interpret technical plans and drawings
– Proficient in preparing and managing documentation such as risk assessments and method statements
– Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
– Commitment to adhering to Health and Safety Regulations and company standards
