Overview:
My client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong experience working for main contractors, ideally within the façade or cladding sector. You’ll manage the commercial aspects of assigned construction projects, working closely with project teams, finance, procurement, and estimating to ensure projects stay on budget and all financial information is accurate.

You’ll be working for a leading principal contractor specialising in cladding remediation. For over 20 years, they have delivered high-quality, compliant, multi-million-pound projects across London and the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor project budgets, costs, and contracts.

* Liaise with senior surveyors, project managers, finance, procurement, and estimating teams.

* Value works and maintain documentation for CVR, cash flow, and sales forecasts.

* Communicate with clients and approve necessary documents.

* Manage orders, deliveries, invoicing, and sub-contractor payments.

* Keep company systems updated with project information.

* Attend site meetings and manage own workload.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong Quantity Surveying experience within main contractors, ideally in the façade or cladding industry.

* Qualified (or near completion) in surveying (e.g., AIOB, FIOB, RICS, or relevant degree).

* CSCS card (visitor or client-specific as needed).

* Familiar with GANTT charts and project/programme management.

* DBS check if required for specific sites.

* Intermediate MS Excel; proficient in Word, Outlook, and basic MS Project.
