About the Role

We are working in partnership with a specialist external envelope contractor based near Warrington. They deliver technically demanding façade, cladding, stone restoration, and external systems work across a range of sectors. Their focus is on quality, precision, and long-term value, with projects valued up to £15m. The company works alongside leading main contractors and undertakes high-profile projects across the UK.

In the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the team to support commercial activity, cost control, and tendering on high-spec projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting with cost estimating and tender submissions for external envelope works
Preparing bills of quantities, cost plans, and take-offs
Supporting site cost monitoring, variation analysis, and change control
Collecting and analysing quotations from specialist suppliers and subcontractors
Contributing to cost reports, forecasting, and commercial reviews
Learning from experienced QSs and estimators in a technically rich environment

What You’ll Bring

Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to read or willingness to learn to interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and an organised approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Competent with Excel; experience with QS or estimating software is a plus
A genuine interest in external façade, restoration, or cladding work, and a desire to develop in that niche
