A multidisciplinary consultancy based in Central London is looking for a Project Manager with a hands-on approach and strong client-facing skills to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career, delivering a range of exciting student accommodation projects. The successful Project Manager will be involved from pre-construction through to handover, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring successful project delivery.

The Project Manager will join a well-established consultancy offering a supportive environment and the chance to work on high-profile developments. To thrive in this role, the Project Manager should have experience leading projects independently and be confident representing clients throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in student accommodation would be advantageous, although candidates from similar backgrounds such as hotels or leisure centres will also be considered.

The Project Manager's Role

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple student accommodation schemes across London. This will include overseeing project programmes, monitoring budgets, managing risk and coordinating consultant teams. The Project Manager will serve as the key liaison between clients, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met at every stage.

The role demands a practical and solution-focused professional who can take ownership of projects and deliver them to a high standard. You will be expected to work independently while maintaining strong communication with all parties involved.

The Project Manager

Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline (e.g. Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management)

Ideally chartered or working towards MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM

Previous experience delivering projects within student accommodation, hotels, or leisure centres

Strong client-facing and communication skills

Proven ability to lead projects from concept through to completion

Familiarity with JCT contracts and UK construction practices
