As they expand their portfolio and target new markets, they’re seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive strategic growth, deepen client relationships and secure new opportunities across the workplace and commercial interiors sector.

About the Role

This is a key position focused on strengthening the company’s presence within the commercial fit-out market. As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging and developing relationships with potential clients, consultants, landlords, agents and project partners—ultimately helping to build a sustainable pipeline of quality projects.

Generating new business opportunities through networking, outreach, industry events and targeted relationship building.

Managing and developing a robust pipeline of prospective clients and projects.

*

Building strong relationships with landlords, agents, consultants, D&B partners and key decision-makers.

*

Working closely with pre-construction and delivery teams to support bids, proposals and tenders.

*

Preparing and presenting capability documents, presentations and proposals.

*

Tracking market trends, competitor activity and upcoming opportunities within the fit-out and commercial property sectors.

Managing CRM systems and ensuring accurate reporting of pipeline, forecasts and contact activity.

*

Supporting marketing initiatives and attending industry events, exhibitions and networking forums on behalf of the business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

Experience in business development or client-facing roles within commercial fit-out, construction, workplace design or property sectors.

An existing network of industry contacts (agents, landlords, consultants, end-users) is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.

Proven ability to generate leads, nurture relationships and convert opportunities into revenue.

Confidence delivering presentations and representing the company at senior level.

*

A strategic mindset with the ability to identify new markets, partnerships and growth areas.

Excellent organisation, CRM management and reporting skills.
