Senior LV/AP testers
One of our clients is a leading building services contractor based in London & Ireland with offices across the UK that work in the commercial construction sector that specialise in the Mechanical & Electrical installations of new build Schools, University Buildings, Hospitals, Factory units.
1Manage and supervise up to 4 test operatives on LV projects
2Testing and commissioning of LV installation as testing procedure, ESSW,BS7671,GN33Manage and keep electronic test folder updated (results to be inputted within 24 hours)4Complete testing schedules and test sheet for, sub main, sub circuit, earthing, modular wiring5Complete DB check sheets, installation reports and snag sheets
6Inspect installation for compliance with BS7671
7Inspection of switchgear and installation methods
8Review all test results, inform T&C manager/Project team of results outside parameters9Manage and co-ordinate Fixed Wiring , Earthing & Modular wiring testing 10Manage and update project Gateway tracker
11Manage and update project schematics (lockable frame)
12Check protective devise settings against selectivity study
13Check and record torque of connections to manufacturers required levels14Manage and co-ordinate request for power and documentation issue
15Manage and co-ordinate request for isolation and documentation issue16Assist specialist sub contractors as requested by management
17 Manage LOTO procedure as ESSW

19 Manage Permit issue and review of task RAMS (Under supervision of project AP)20Manage security of areas under control
21Inspection of switchgear and installation methods
22Check project test instruments, test leads and calibrations
23Review and advice on required updates to project ITP
24Co-ordinate areas to test and review handover packs from CM
25Issue inspection reports, DB & Earth bar check sheets to project team
26Issue snags & non compliances issued to project team
27Ensure project team have closed out snags and non-compliant items
28Carryout client witnessing of LV fixed & modular wiring test results
29Provide information for NICEIC completion certification
30Carryout emergency lighting testing and verification
31A flexible approach to working "out of hours" to achieve project requirements and completion dates
