Project Manager (Small Works) – Construction – City of London (£80,000 – £100,000 including overtime)

Our client, a leading commercial fit-out contractor renowned for delivering exceptional building and construction projects across London, is currently working with prestigious, high-profile clients. They are looking for a Small Works Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent projects, ideally in live environments.

As a Small Works Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of small-scale refurbishment and fabric works projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects in fast-paced, high-pressure settings, and will thrive in environments that require multitasking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee multiple small-scale projects, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication throughout each project lifecycle.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour teams to ensure high standards of work and safety compliance.
Deliver projects in live environments, managing any disruption and ensuring minimal impact to clients.
Provide regular progress updates, preparing detailed reports and documentation.The Ideal Candidate Will have/be:

Flexible to work overtime or weekends when required. Overtime compensation will be provided for additional hours worked.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, specifically in small refurbishments and fabric works.
Strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience liaising directly with clients.
Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in live environments, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
A current DBS Check (Basic or Enhanced) or willingness to complete upon appointment.Job Details:
