A rapidly expanding specialist contractor is looking for a strong Senior QS / Estimator to lead tenders, drive pre-construction activity, and act as the Estimating Manager’s No.2. This role is perfect for someone who wants to move away from pure valuations and into high-impact, front-end commercial work.

The Role

Lead tenders across major RC frame & structural packages.

Pull together full cost plans: RC frame, groundworks, steelwork, logistics, hoarding, scaffolding, tower cranes.

Drive the entire pre-con process from enquiry to handover.

Attend client and post-tender meetings; present pricing and methodology confidently.

Coordinate & mentor two estimators; step up when the Estimating Manager is unavailable.

What You Need

Strong background in RC frame / structures from a civils or specialist subcontractor.

Experience running tenders, coordinating subcontract packages & producing structured pricing.

Excellent construction knowledge – understands sequencing, slipform, crane planning, buildability.

Confident client-facing communicator with presence and technical credibility.

Ability to manage multiple live bids in a fast-paced environment.
