We’re looking for a proactive and personable Tenant Liaison Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering a positive resident experience on our projects.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with customer-facing experience in the construction sector who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to local communities.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Tenant Liaison Officer, you’ll be the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after works to their homes. Your role is all about communication, support, and ensuring a smooth, stress-free process for everyone involved.
You will:
Build strong, trust-based relationships with residents, offering clear guidance and reassurance throughout the works
Identify vulnerable tenants and ensure they receive the right support
Keep all resident information secure and GDPR compliant
Manage queries and concerns, providing fast and fair resolutions
Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to keep communication seamless
Carry out resident consultations, choice events, and individual inductions
Complete property condition surveys, including photos and documentation
Profile residents and collaborate with site teams to plan access and working methods
Arrange appointments and access for works
Prepare resident communication packs and information materials
Support community initiatives and Social Value activities
You’ll be an essential bridge between residents and the project team—ensuring everyone feels informed, respected, and supported.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
GCSEs or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience within the construction sector
Strong communication and people skills
Well organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
Understanding of basic Health & Safety and GDPR requirements
A proactive, empathetic, and solution-focused approach
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Basic understanding of retrofit projects
Experience working with vulnerable residents
