Mechanical Project Manager
Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services with over 45 years of industry experience, is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Leeds. The role is a permanent, full-time position focusing on the data centre sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
Familiarise yourself with project specifications and details
Collate technical submittals and follow through until approval
Manage the labour tracker and maintain weekly progress reports
Report and manage any changes or variations in the project
Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team
Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
Ensure adequate materials are available to complete the project
Implement construction and commissioning programmes on-site
Manage the handover process and maintain the document management system
Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery
Attend general site meetings and action any points raised
Communicate project-specific innovations to the Contracts Manager
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role
Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects
Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
Experience in supervising teams
