Electrical Project Manager

Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. This permanent, full-time role is critical within the data centre sector, contributing to the execution of large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending project start-up meetings to understand all project specifications and details
Managing technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved
Raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs)
Tracking labour and maintaining weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
Liaising with main contractors and client-based site teams
Overseeing coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
Ensuring materials availability for project completion
Implementing the commission plan on site and ensuring construction and commissioning programmes are in place
Generating regular snag lists and managing the handover process
Scheduling project specifics and coordinating with subcontractors
Attending general site meetings and addressing action points

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
Experience in supervising teams
Strong M&E project management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Ability to maintain detailed progress reports and manage project variations effectively
