The Role
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to join their ever-growing team.

Projects range from £5k to £5M and vary in both sector and discipline — making this a diverse and engaging role suited to a proactive and driven candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Site Management

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades.
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
*
Monitor site progress and provide updates to senior management and/or customer contacts.
Project Coordination
*
Liaise with design teams to resolve technical issues.
*
Review mechanical drawings and specifications.
*
Assist with planning and scheduling mechanical works.
*
Manage procurement and delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.
Quality Assurance
*
Conduct inspections and maintain quality control of mechanical installations.
*
Maintain site records including daily/weekly logs, inspection reports, and progress updates.
*
Ensure all work is delivered in line with relevant standards and codes.
Team Leadership
*
Lead and motivate site teams.
*
Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
*
Support training and development of junior staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*
Proven experience in mechanical site management within construction environments.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices.
*
Familiarity with construction health & safety regulations.
*
CSCS card or equivalent (SSSTS preferred).
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
