About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a large residential apartments development. This is a freelance position overseeing all electrical installation works on site, ensuring that safety, quality and programme targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all on-site electrical trades, including electricians and subcontractors

*

Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and design documents, ensuring full compliance

*

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of electrical installations

*

Coordinate daily with other trade supervisors, Site Manager and Project Manager

*

Enforce all Health & Safety requirements, including ensuring RAMS are in place, correct PPE usage and safe systems of work

*

Review test & inspection paperwork and commissioning documentation

*

Monitor progress, identify risks or delays and report issues promptly

*

Assist with snagging, defect resolution and handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate daily/weekly reports, including labour records and materials usage

Required Qualifications & Skills

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor

*

Proven supervisory experience on residential, commercial, or industrial projects

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS qualification

*

Full UK Driving Licence
