About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Site Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in steel frame construction projects. Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site engineering activities on steel frame projects

Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project requirements

Ensure all works are completed in line with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Supervise subcontractors and support the Site Manager with coordination of site operations

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily records and reports

Assist with resolving technical issues in collaboration with the design and project teams

Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally on steel frame or structural steel projects

Strong understanding of construction processes and engineering principles

Proficiency with setting-out equipment (e.g. total stations, GPS)

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Strong awareness of health and safety regulations

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent)
