Temporary Electrical Engineer – University Project (Central London) Hourly Rate: £25/hour PAYE or £30/hour Umbrella Location: Central London Contract Type: Temporary

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious university in Central London for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Estates team on a temporary basis.

Role Overview:

This position focuses on carrying out remedial works and light reprogramming of the Simmtronic lighting control system across campus facilities. You'll play a key role in ensuring the system operates efficiently and meets compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical remedial works as required.
Undertake light reprogramming and adjustments on the Simmtronic lighting system.
Diagnose and resolve minor faults promptly.
Liaise with the university's maintenance team to ensure smooth operations.Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within commercial or institutional environments.
Familiarity with Simmtronic lighting systems (essential).
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).Benefits:
