Divisional Commissioning Manager- Dublin or Cork (HQ) | Projects Across Ireland, UK & Europe
€six-figure base salary + full benefits, and all travel expenses covered
An excellent opportunity has opened for an experienced Divisional Commissioning Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor. This role will be based out of their Dublin or Cork head office, with responsibility for overseeing commissioning activities across major mission-critical, commercial and industrial projects throughout Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all commissioning activities across multiple projects, ensuring systems are delivered fully operational, compliant, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure a smooth commissioning process from pre-commissioning through to handover.
• Attend project and client meetings, offering technical expertise on MEP systems delivery.
• Identify required test equipment, manage commissioning documentation, and support the development of project ITCA trackers.
• Oversee sub-contractor testing & commissioning, carry out witness testing, and review technical documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of Handover Packs, QA/QC reports, site investigation reports, ‘as-built’ documentation, and H&S file information.
• Conduct quality inspections during commissioning stages and ensure timely resolution of any deficiencies.
• Produce detailed commissioning site reports and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all projects.
• Support Project Managers with people-management duties, ensuring teams follow company policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong technical background in MEP commissioning, ideally with experience leading commissioning on large-scale projects.
• Excellent understanding of commissioning processes, site coordination, and quality/safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different regions, including international travel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
