Senior Contracts Manager – Piling

Piling Recruitment Group (PRG) is recruiting on behalf of a leading piling contractor for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee complex piling projects from pre-construction through to final delivery. This is a senior leadership role, ensuring programmes run efficiently, commercial risks are controlled, and projects are delivered to the highest standards.

The Role

As Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing multiple piling project programmes from start to completion

*

Overseeing site delivery teams and providing technical and commercial guidance

*

Reviewing tender submissions, contributing to estimates, and assessing project feasibility

*

Ensuring full understanding and compliance with NEC contract forms

*

Identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks

*

Managing change, early warnings, compensation events, and client communications

*

Chairing progress meetings, ensuring clear reporting and programme control

*

Supporting the wider business in improving systems, processes, and project outcomes

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

Strong experience in piling, ground engineering, or foundation contracting

*

A proven track record managing projects and programmes at Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Manager level

*

Solid understanding of NEC contracts and their contractual mechanisms

*

Ability to challenge, review, and contribute to estimations and tender submissions

*

Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage clients, suppliers, and internal teams

*

Strong commercial awareness and strategic problem-solving abilities

*

Ability to travel as required to project sites across the UK
