Role Overview
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring robust cost management and contributing to the overall commercial success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
* Manage project finances and ensure effective cost control
* Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Oversee procurement processes and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
* Provide accurate financial and commercial reporting to senior management
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal procedures
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* 3–5 years’ experience in a QS role (contractor or consultancy background)
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Proficiency in relevant QS software and MS Office
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per year (depending on experience)
* Pension: 5% employer QE contribution
* Holidays: 22 days per year + public holidays
* Increases by 1 day per year after 3 years’ service (up to a maximum of 25 days)
