Role Purpose

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and coordinate a rolling programme of void relets from survey through to handover, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely completions.

You will typically manage 25–30 active units at varying stages at any one time. Success in this role is measured against turnaround times, quality standards, health & safety performance, cost control, and client satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

1. Programme & Workflow Delivery

* Plan, sequence, and track work across multiple units to achieve agreed turnaround targets.

* Maintain live progress schedules and provide accurate updates and forecasts via Buildertrend and other relevant platforms.

2. Labour & Supply Chain Coordination

* Allocate and supervise trades and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis across active units.

* Ensure resourcing levels meet programme requirements and lead regular performance and toolbox talks.

3. Quality & Handover

* Deliver units prepared for first-time client acceptance wherever achievable.

* Oversee snagging, rework, and close-out activities.

* Ensure all compliance documentation—including gas and electrical certificates, O&M information, and sign-offs—is complete prior to handover.

4. Health & Safety

* Carry out daily site checks on all live units.

* Prepare, review, and enforce RAMS and site-specific safety standards.

* Submit weekly H&S compliance reports via Buildertrend or designated systems.

* Immediately escalate any incidents or near-misses in line with company protocols.

5. Client & Stakeholder Communication

* Serve as the primary on-site contact for Clerk of Works, voids officers, surveyors, and RLOs.

* Provide clear weekly updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

* Maintain professional and constructive communication at all times.

Salary & Package

* Base Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (DOE)

* Fuel: Fuel card provided in line with company policy

* Pension: Company pension scheme (standard employer contribution)

* Expenses: Approved work-related and site expenses reimbursed

* Holiday: 25 days + statutory bank holidays
