About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead a major high-volume residential development in London. This is a pivotal opportunity for a dynamic leader with a proven track record delivering large-scale residential schemes in the capital. You will take full responsibility for driving project strategy, performance, delivery, and stakeholder management from pre-construction through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle delivery of a complex, high-density residential scheme in London.
Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure exceptional quality, safety, and programme performance.
Manage budgets, forecasts, procurement strategies, and cost control in line with commercial targets.
Work closely with planning, design, and technical teams to maintain project vision and compliance.
Engage with local authorities, community groups, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
Implement robust risk, quality, and safety management processes.
Provide strong leadership to inspire high performance and a collaborative culture across the project.
Experience & Requirements
Demonstrable experience delivering high-volume residential developments in London is essential.
Strong understanding of London-specific planning, building regulations, logistics, and delivery challenges.
Proven leadership experience at Senior Project Manager or Project Director level within a main contractor or residential developer.
Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and technical expertise.
Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
