Are you an experienced Project Manager (Electrical bias) ready to take ownership of a landmark data centre project in Bristol?

I’m recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking regional main contractor with a proven record in M&E-led construction, now seeking a driven, technically minded professional to lead the full MEP delivery on a major new data centre scheme.

🔧 The Role

As Project Manager (Electrical bias), you’ll oversee the MEP delivery on a new-build, mission-critical data centre project – ensuring the electrical and mechanical systems are designed, coordinated, and executed to the highest standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Leading M&E coordination and installation on a technically complex scheme

* Managing subcontractors, design consultants, and on-site delivery teams

* Ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety, and client specifications

* Overseeing programme, procurement, and cost control for MEP packages

* Reporting directly to the Project Director and liaising closely with the client

This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across design, build, and commissioning stages.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

* Proven track record delivering M&E or data centre projects (ideally with an electrical background)

* Strong technical understanding of LV/HV systems, critical power, and building services coordination

* Ability to manage large specialist subcontractor teams and complex programmes

* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

* Based in or commutable to Bristol and the wider South West
