Junior Engineer (Graduate) – Solar / Renewable Energy

Location: UK-wide (site based with regular travel)

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Junior Engineer to join our expanding team in the renewable energy sector. This position is primarily site based and involves travelling to solar farm projects across the UK. It is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop a career within the fast-growing solar PV industry.

In this role, you will work closely with the Site Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of solar farm sites and assisting with engineering tasks, design implementation, and general project support. You will help with surveys, measurements, quality checks, and project documentation. You will also be responsible for updating drawings and supporting design changes using AutoCAD.

* Strong AutoCAD experience is essential.

To be considered for this role, you will need a degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Renewables or similar. You must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle and be willing to travel nationwide as required. Good communication skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to work safely and professionally on active sites are all important.

* Experience within the renewables or solar industry is desirable but not essential

* familiarity with Helioscope, PV Case or RatedPower would be an advantage.

* Previous site experience, even from a placement or internship, would also be beneficial.
