Contracts Manager required by Co-Down based fit-out contractor with a busy orderbook for 2025 and beyond.

Hays Belfast are recruiting for a Contracts Manager role on behalf of a leading yet expanding specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor based in County Down.

Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will be an important part of the contractual management team with a variety of responsibilities while ensuring the successful delivery of the contract.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing contract budget
- Chairing a weekly project status review meeting
- Weekly reporting on project progress
- Managing subcontractors
- Managing site installations
- Managing all aspects of contracts while working alongside the commercial department
- Adhering to company KPI targets set
- The preparation of the contract budget
- Communicating with senior management, project employees and the client
- Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good understanding and at least 3 years’ experience of working within construction / fit out at a similar level. You would be able to demonstrate the ability of successfully managing the delivery of a project or contract from the start through to handover.
Being able to work on your own initiative while showcasing your leadership and communication skills to achieve the best results possible. A proficient knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. This role will involve limited travel throughout the year.
