Electrical Estimator – Waterford

A leading international engineering services provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its expanding team at its Waterford head office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established organisation delivering large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre and commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for medium and large-scale projects.

*

Interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop cost proposals.

*

Liaise with project managers, design teams and procurement to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.

*

Conduct material take-offs, supplier pricing reviews and subcontractor evaluations.

*

Support bid submissions and contribute to value-engineering solutions.

*

Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries and tender records.

Requirements

*

3+ years’ experience in an electrical estimating role (engineering or contracting environment preferred).

*

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods and industry standards.

*

Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.

*

Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.

*

Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple tenders.

*

Relevant electrical, engineering or construction qualification desirable.
