Project Manager

My client a specialist civil engineering business. They are looking to onboard a project manager due to an increase in contracts awarded across their London region. My client specialise within the marine and civils sector. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience of heavy civils, lifting operations and marine civils.

Project manager requirements:

* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.

* Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.

* Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

* Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure contingency strategies.

* Ensure that construction activities meet design specifications, standards, and regulations.

* Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.

* Ensure all work complies with national regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.

* Manage contracts, evaluate claims, negotiate changes, and ensure obligations are met.

* Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and communicate updates to clients and senior management.

Project manager responsibilities:

* Right to work in the UK.

* Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management.

* CSCS card – Gold/ Black/ White.

* SMSTS.

* TWS/TWC/ AP – Desirable.

* Proven experience in a project managers role.

* Experience and knowledge of marine civils.

* IT literate.

* Full UK driving licence.
