A leading UK civil engineering specialist is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Major Projects division, delivering a portfolio of secured works across Scotland.

The business undertakes complex strengthening, repair and refurbishment projects on concrete and steel structures nationwide. Typical packages include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair, cathodic protection, steel strengthening, carbon-fibre systems, temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. The company is also recognised for its expertise in lightweight access systems, specialist decking and long-span bridge and cable refurbishment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a busy, expanding contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the region. The role is ideally suited to someone based within the Central Belt.

About You

* A technical qualification (e.g., Degree in Civil Engineering or HND)

* Strong background in structural or civils-based contracting

* Proven technical capability and project management experience

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills

* Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations

* Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets and implement safe systems of work

* Solid understanding of Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements in a project environment
