Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering
Location: North West or Yorkshire (projects across Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool, North Wales, Preston/Blackpool, Greater Manchester & Cheshire)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + car allowance + full package
Working pattern: On site and hybrid

Our client is expanding its commercial team and looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of civil engineering projects across the North West and Yorkshire.

You'll be joining a well-established and supportive commercial function comprising 10 professionals (Commercial Manager, Commercial Director, 3 Senior QS, and 5 QS). With ongoing growth across the region, they are now seeking mid-level QS talent who can independently manage their own projects while contributing to the wider commercial team.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of your own civil engineering projects, ensuring financial control, risk management and cost efficiency from inception to completion. Projects span multiple key regions, offering strong variety and long-term stability.

Key Requirements

3-5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within UK civil engineering
Strong understanding and experience of NEC contracts (essential)
Ability to independently manage the commercial aspects of your own projects
Completed degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Full UK working rights and UK construction experience (international-only experience not suitable)
Full driving licence (projects across multiple regions)What's on Offer
