An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Manager to join a specialist engineering contractor known for delivering high-standard technical projects across the UK. This role would suit a hands-on supervisor or site manager with an electrical or mechanical background, looking to step into a leadership position with real development potential.
You’ll oversee a small team delivering installation and commissioning projects nationwide, working across a variety of complex and regulated environments. The position offers continuous training, structured progression and the chance to work on unique technical projects while representing a growing, quality-driven organisation.
Your role as an Electrical Manager will include:
* Lead and coordinate site-based projects from initial technical survey through to installation, testing and commissioning.
* Oversee a small team of engineers, ensuring high standards of health and safety and regulatory compliance.
* Monitor and drive performance across quality, cost, delivery and project milestones.
* Carry out site surveys, risk assessments, and project planning activities.
* Maintain strong communication with internal teams, stakeholders and site personnel.
* Travel to client sites across the UK (overnight stays required), with a company vehicle provided.
What You Need:
* Full UK driving licence & ability to get security clearance.
* CSCS/ECS card and SSSTS or equivalent H&S qualification.
* NVQ Level 3 in an electrical or mechanical discipline (construction or engineering-related).
* Experience supervising engineers or managing site-based activities (minimum 3 years).
* Commutable to South London as a base and able to travel and stay away when required on a nationwide basis.
