A strong Tier 2 Main Contractor with a £400M annual turnover is seeking an experienced Site Manager (Internals) to join the team on a major £77M residential new-build scheme on the Old Kent Road.

This flagship development comprises 300 units across two blocks (one private, one social housing) and marks the first phase of a four-phase masterplan, offering long-term career security and progression opportunities.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of all internal works from 2nd fix through to completion. The project is entering the 2nd fix plastering stage now, with over 12 months of internal fit-out ahead, making this an ideal time to join.

Responsibilities include:

Managing all internal trades from 2nd fix to handover

Ensuring exceptional quality control standards and adherence to processes

*

Driving programme, sequencing and productivity across internal packages

*

Maintaining detailed QA documentation and ensuring compliance

*

Coordinating closely with subcontractors and the wider site team

*

Supporting a smooth and defect-free handover

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering internals on large new-build residential schemes

*

Strong understanding of 2nd fix, fit-out and finishing sequences

*

Excellent QA, paperwork, and process management skills

*

Ability to maintain high quality standards across multiple trades

*

Strong communication and subcontractor coordination experience
