My client is a Leading Design and Build company who focus on the interior design and fitout of high end office spaces. They are looking to hire an assistant project manager to join their smaller works team!

The role:

The primary role of an Assistant Project Manager in the Client Focus Team is to work closely with the Client Focus Manager and the team of project managers to deliver repeat business/churn projects to existing clients only. The Assistant Project Manager in the Client Focus Team will be responsible for assisting with brief taking, assisting and developing comprehensive and accurate project costs & programme and be responsible for project managing the works paying particular attention to the health and safety precautions necessary when working within an occupied office.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and follow up repeat business/churn enquiries from existing clients.
• Prepare proposals, plans and programmes that demonstrate the works and the timescales for
implementation to agreed Service Levels.
• Maintain and develop computerised records of the works.
• Assisting and developing a relationship with the existing clients so that they are in no doubt as to
who to contact for repeat works.
• Agree Service Levels with the Project managers and the Client.
• Place orders with sub-contractors and suppliers in an efficient and timely manner
• Submit invoices to the client in a timely manner and ensure payment within the agreed timescales

• Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Must have:

– Good with IT

– perfect communication skills

– be willing to go above and beyond to learn and develop

– be well presented and spoken so you can talk to clients

– Strong organisational skills

– Ideally some experience in the construction industry OR a relevant degree
