About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Manchester to oversee a £10m residential development made up of a mix of houses and apartments. You’ll play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commercial control, cost accuracy, and smooth delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial aspects of the project, from procurement through final accounts

Prepare cost plans, valuations, and budget forecasts

*

Lead on tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration

*

Provide accurate monthly reporting and maintain strong cost control

*

Work closely with the site team to ensure financial performance aligns with project goals

*

Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

About You

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction

*

Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

*

Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

*

Confident managing projects of similar scale and complexity

*

Able to work collaboratively within a dynamic project team
