Your new role
- Technical responsibility for structural engineering design delivery
- Identify opportunities, lead and support business development and work winning / bidding activities.
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key and prospective clients.
- Line Management and technical development and growth of our structural engineering team.
- Client and stakeholder interface.
- Co-ordination and management of other disciplines inputs into projects.
- Take financial responsibility for the structural fees on projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
- You will be a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer
- Client-facing and business development skills, or an aspiration to develop them
- Extensive post-graduate experience in major structural engineering building projects
- Proven track record in design delivery from concept to detailed delivery
- Detailed knowledge of design codes and standards relating to structural engineering.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D design software packages and suitability for their use at project level.
