Contracts Manager
I'm working with a reputable contractor with a long-standing presence in the Scottish market as they look to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Edinburgh based team.
They deliver fit-out, refurbishment, and new-build projects across a range of sectors including hotel and leisure, commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, and more. This role offers real project variety and the chance to oversee a wide spectrum of technically interesting schemes.
As Contracts Manager, you will be based out of their Livingston office, primarily covering projects across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Fife, but occasional travel further north may also be required.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
– Managing multiple construction projects across the east of Scotland.
– Overseeing project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
– Leading and supporting site teams, ensuring safety, quality and programme compliance.
– Building strong relationships with clients, design teams and stakeholders.
– Ensuring commercial and contractual obligations are met across all projects.
– Coordinating suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring best value procurement and smooth site operations.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
– Well-rounded construction management experience covering fit-out, new-build, and refurbishment projects.
– Solid working knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors and the east-coast construction market.
– Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
– Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Contracts Manager looking to take ownership of varied construction projects with a respected contractor that continues to grow in Scotland.
If you’re an experienced Contracts Manager with broad construction knowledge and deep east-coast market awareness, I’d love to speak with you!
