Overview

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a rapidly growing construction and demolition organisation operating nationally across earthworks, civils, aggregates, plant, and complex technical projects.

This role is suited to someone who can take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality and commercially successful delivery. You will act as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets, programmes, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

Take full responsibility for project delivery across earthworks and civils schemes.

*

Oversee works from pre-construction through planning, delivery and handover.

*

Lead project teams, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Programming & Planning

*

Develop and maintain construction programmes.

*

Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

*

Coordinate design, procurement, logistics and site resources.

Financial & Commercial Management

*

Manage project budgets, cost forecasts and financial performance.

*

Ensure works are delivered within agreed commercial targets.

*

Identify variations, risks and value engineering opportunities.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

*

Ensure full compliance with all H&S and environmental legislation.

*

Conduct inspections, audits and briefings.

*

Promote a strong safety culture across project teams and subcontractors.

Quality & Standards

*

Ensure all work is delivered to specification, drawings and industry standards.

*

Maintain quality records and ensure compliance before sign-off.

*

Resolve technical queries and coordinate with engineering teams where required.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison

*

Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and external stakeholders.

*

Lead progress meetings, provide reports and maintain strong working relationships.

*

Communicate project updates clearly and professionally.
