This is an opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative, expert team where your CDM and H&S knowledge will genuinely influence project outcomes and help clients achieve safer, compliant, and well-managed environments.
What You’ll Do
As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide clear, practical guidance throughout all stages of construction projects, including:
* Deliver expert CDM and construction health & safety advice to clients, designers, and contractors
* Support duty holders in meeting their obligations under CDM 2015 and wider H&S legislation
* Prepare and review essential H&S documentation such as pre-construction information, risk assessments, and construction phase plans
* Carry out audits covering design risk management, contractor competence, and Principal Designer responsibilities
* Advise clients on legal duties and resource requirements, ensuring projects remain safe, compliant, and well-structured
* Mentor and guide junior colleagues, contributing to a positive, knowledge-sharing team culture
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with clients, influencing project decisions, and applying legislation in a pragmatic, solutions-led way.
What You’ll Bring
* A relevant H&S qualification (NEBOSH Construction, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent)
* IOSH / APS membership (or working towards membership)
* Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015 and UK construction health & safety legislation
* Experience providing hands-on, practical H&S / CDM advice within the construction sector
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and project teams
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* A proactive approach to CPD and a desire to support the development of others

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
