Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and refurbishment of food factory facilities throughout the UK. This is a hands-on leadership role, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Many projects will be local, but accommodation is fully funded for those requiring travel and overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site operations across build and refurbishment projects within food manufacturing environments.
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Maintain exceptional health & safety standards and enforce site compliance.
Conduct site inductions, coordinate logistics, and ensure all works are aligned with project specifications.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee quality control, progress reporting, and site documentation.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Manager.
Proven background in food factory construction or refurbishment-this is mandatory.
Valid and in-date SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (FAW) certifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable Attributes
Experience managing multiple phases of complex industrial environments.
