About the Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of commercial fit-out projects, ensuring robust cost control from tender stage through to final account. Working closely with Project Managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients, you’ll provide accurate reporting, commercial insight, and a proactive approach to managing project budgets.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing tenders, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.

Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.

Monitoring project costs, valuations, variations, and cashflow.
*
Conducting regular site visits to track progress and assess commercial risks.
*
Building strong relationships with clients and project teams.
*
Preparing monthly commercial reports and supporting senior management with financial forecasting.
*
Leading the final account process and ensuring timely project close-out.

Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the commercial fit-out sector (or similar construction environment).
*
Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
*
Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
*
Proficiency with cost management software and standard forms of contract.
*
A detail-oriented, commercially astute approach.

Relevant degree or professional qualification (desirable but not essential)
