Contracts Manager
I'm looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join am award-winning fire protection business based in Birmingham.
**You MUST have fire doors experience to be considered for this role**
Role Responsibilities:
Manage all stages of fire protection contracts, including planning, resourcing, delivery, and close-out.
Lead project teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality installations.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing queries, variations, and project updates.
Prepare and oversee programme schedules, RAMS, budgets, and contract documentation.
Work closely with procurement and design teams to ensure timely material and equipment supply.
Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with relevant standards (BS 5839, BS 5306, etc.).
Report project performance and financial status to senior management.Experience Required:
Proven experience in contract or project management within fire protection, M&E, construction, or a related technical sector.
Strong understanding of fire detection, suppression, or passive fire protection systems (training can be provided for the right candidate).
Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, health & safety requirements, and industry standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
Full UK driving licence.The salary is £50,000 to £60,000 plus an excellent benefits package
