Your new role
My client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Contracts Manager to join their team on a freelance to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction contracts on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and review contracts, negotiate terms, and manage contract changes.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
- Provide regular reports on project status, budget, and any potential risks.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS
