Site Engineer
We are recruiting for a Site Engineer (Setting Out / Surveying) to join a leading regional civil engineering contractor on a significant infrastructure scheme in Bristol. The project involves groundworks, landslide stabilisation, and associated civils construction over a multi-month period (work expected until July next year).

The Role
As the Site Engineer you will:

Carry out setting out and surveying tasks for foundations, drainage, embankments, and stabilisation works.

Use surveying equipment (total station, GPS) to set up control or measure as-builts (own kit preferred, but not essential).

Produce accurate as-built documentation and QA records.
*
Coordinate with construction supervisors and engineering leads to ensure works are built to design and tolerances.
*
Review plans, technical drawings, and sections, raising queries/recommendations for buildability.
*
Support with temporary works coordination and risk control.
*
Maintain site-based records, reports, and reporting to the Project Manager / Engineers
