Junior Mechanical Services Engineer Job in Ringwood
Our successful, knowledgeable and team spirited business in Ringwood are recruiting a new addition to their team. They are seeking a Junior Mechanical Services Engineer to join. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the mechanical services installation industry. You’ll gain a solid grounding in all aspects of mechanical building services, working closely with engineers, project managers, and estimators on live projects.
Salary and Benefits:
* A salary of £26,000 – £31,000 DOE per annum
* 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with mechanical installations and commissioning work
* Support Project Managers with project coordination and documentation
* Assist Estimators with preparing quotations and take-offs
* Complete technical take-offs from drawings and specifications
* Carry out drawing administration and maintain accurate technical records
* Produce O&M (Operation & Maintenance) manuals for completed projects
* Provide office administration support as required
* Communicate effectively with engineers, clients, and suppliers
* Ensure all work is completed to company standards and health & safety procedures
* You’ll receive comprehensive training and mentoring, including AutoCAD training, project management, estimating, and design functions
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science
* Positive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
* Strong team player with good communication skills
* Resilient and adaptable – able to handle changing workloads
* Must live within a 45-minute drive of Ringwood
* Public transport links are limited, so a driving licence or ability to walk to work is essential
* Flexible approach – this is not a standard 9–5 job, and occasional extra hours may be required
