Site Manager – Cut & Carve Specialist – Central London
A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager with strong cut-and-carve expertise to join their delivery team on a major redevelopment in Central London. This is a high-profile, complex scheme in the heart of Central London, offering the opportunity to work on one of the city’s landmark projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate cut-and-carve works within a live, multifaceted construction environment
* Lead subcontractors on site, ensuring safety, quality, and programme compliance
* Resolve technical challenges and maintain clear communication with project leadership
* Oversee logistics, sequencing, and safe delivery of structural alterations
* Maintain strict H&S standards and compliance with project procedures
Required Experience:
* Proven background delivering cut-and-carve packages on large-scale London projects
* Experience on major developments (£50m+)
* Strong understanding of structural alterations within constrained and complex urban environments
* Ability to manage high-risk packages and drive works efficiently
* Excellent communication and organisation skills

* Hands-on, detail-driven, and proactive on site
* Comfortable working within a fast-paced Tier 1 contractor environment
* Able to build strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams
