Electrical Estimator – M&E

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing design, build and maintenance contractor based in Manchester.

You'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive electrical tenders across a range of commercial and industrial projects. Working closely with both pre-construction and project delivery teams, you'll help ensure bids are technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions

Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements

Utilise Trimble for take-offs and cost calculations

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for quotations and clarifications

Support value engineering and provide technical input during tender reviews

Package

£50,000 -£55,000 base salary

£6,000 car allowance

Bonus scheme based on performance

33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)

Strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects

Office-based role in Manchester

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E or building services contractor

Proficient with Trimble estimating software

Solid understanding of electrical installation systems and materials

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

Based within a reasonable commute of Manchester
