Estimator – Concrete Frame / RC Structures – £65,000 – £100,000 (DOE) + package & benefits – Southwark – Permanent, Full-Time

About the role
This is a key position for an experienced Estimator to support the pre-construction and tendering of major reinforced concrete and formwork packages across commercial, residential, infrastructure and mixed-use schemes.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete frame, RC structures and formwork packages

*

Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documents

*

Produce take-offs and build up rates from first principles

*

Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations

*

Collaborate with Pre-Construction, Commercial and Operations teams

*

Identify risks, value engineering opportunities and cost savings

*

Support bid submissions, tender queries and negotiations

*

Assist with budgets, cash flow forecasts and cost plans

*

Maintain accurate estimating records and databases

Ideal background

*

Proven Estimating experience within concrete frame / RC / formwork / civil construction

*

Strong understanding of substructure and superstructure packages

*

Ability to read technical and structural drawings

*

Excellent Excel and estimating software skills

*

Analytical, detail-focused and commercially minded

*

Strong communication and team collaboration skills
