Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 per annum

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a major UK infrastructure programme. This role offers the chance to work on one of the country’s largest and most technically challenging developments, supporting long-term national energy and infrastructure goals.
You will take responsibility for delivering complex, multidisciplinary work packages across roads, rail interfaces, power systems, communications, water networks, buildings, industrial facilities and security infrastructure.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a regulated, high-performance environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver safely, on time, and to exacting standards.
Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will:

Lead the full lifecycle delivery of assigned contracts/work packages
*
Define scope, programme interfaces and required deliverables
*
Ensure safe, on-time and on-budget delivery
*
Develop and maintain Level 3 schedules aligned with overall project plans
*
Drive engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
*
Review contractor schedules and ensure compliance
*
Manage risk, change, cost and earned value performance
*
Engage effectively with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
*
Apply continuous improvement and lessons-learned processes
*
Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders
*
Ensure contractual, quality and regulatory compliance
Requirements
Essential:
*
Experience managing complex engineering or infrastructure projects
*
Strong understanding of NEC/FIDIC-style contracts
*
Proven capability across cost control, scheduling, risk & change management
*
Degree + chartered status in engineering, construction, physics or similar
*
Knowledge of CDM regulations
*
Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable:
*
Experience within nuclear, energy, or other regulated sectors
*
Understanding of nuclear quality standards and assurance
*
Knowledge of PWR operations (advantageous)
