Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000

A leading multidisciplinary practice is seeking a Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join its growing team in Oxford. The role offers the chance to lead and deliver a wide range of professional and project-based building surveying services across private and commercial sectors. The position involves managing complex commissions, supporting junior staff, contributing to business development, and assisting in the strategic growth of the building surveying discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as Lead Consultant on building surveying projects
Preparing specifications, tender documents, and cost information
Assisting with planning and building regulation applications and liaising with authorities
Managing project programmes, deadlines, and workload
Overseeing the design and drawing preparation process
Assessing tenders and providing client recommendations
Chairing and minuting project meetings
Administering construction contracts
Monitoring expenditure to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Negotiating and settling final accounts with contractors
Ensuring all documentation meets high accuracy and quality standards

Essential Skills & Experience

Degree in Building Surveying
Chartered status (MRICS) or a clear commitment to achieving it
